Sofwatul Amaanah Treasury: Ethical Finance for a Stronger, Empowered Ummah

The Sofwatul Amaanah Treasury is the financial heart of our foundation, dedicated to providing ethical and transparent financial solutions that uplift individuals and communities. Through interest-free loans, market subsidies, congregation insurance, and voluntary donations, we ensure that every resource is used to nurture faith, empower lives, and serve humanity. Here’s what we do:

1. JAMAA'AH (CONGREGATION) CONTRIBUTIONS FOR NON-INTEREST LOAN

When members of our community come together to contribute money, we create a special fund called the Non-Interest Loan. This money is given to people who need help—like starting a business, paying for school, or fixing their home—without charging any extra money (interest). It’s a way for all of us to help each other and grow together, just like a big family!”

2. FRIDAY MARKET SUBSIDY

The Friday Market Subsidy helps make things at the market cheaper for everyone. When you buy fruits, vegetables, clothes, or other items, the subsidy means you pay less money. This way, more people can afford what they need, and the market becomes a happy place for everyone to shop and support each other

3. INSURANCE FOR THE JAMAA'AH (CONGREGATION)

Insurance for the Jamaa’ah is like a big group hug for our community! Everyone works together by putting a small amount of money into a special fund. If someone gets sick, has an accident, or needs help, the fund is there to support them—just like friends helping each other when times are tough

4. VOLUNTARY DONATIONS FOR THE MOSQUE.

Voluntary donations for the mosque are when people choose to give money or things to help the mosque, but they do it because they want to, not because they have to. These donations help pay for things like cleaning, repairs, and buying books or mats for praying. It’s like when you share some of your toys or allowance to help someone or a cause you care about. When we donate, we are helping to make the mosque a better place for everyone to come and pray together. Every little bit helps!
